Our courses are all conducted at the New Zealand Cheese School in our state-of-the-art training facility in Putaruru on State Highway 1.
We are situated directly upstairs from our sister company, Over the Moon Dairy, whose artisan dairy factory provides the setting for our practical courses.
The facility includes a large kitchen and function room where we host most of our cheese making classes. The training room comfortably seats 16 seats (lecture style) or up to 30 seats (theatre style).
Our facility is available for hire when courses are not being run.
New Zealand Cheese School sits right on State Highway 1 in the small agricultural town of Putaruru – about 50 minutes drive south of Hamilton on the main route from Auckland to Taupo.
Rotorua, Hamilton and Taupo airports are all within one hour’s drive and we are on the Auckland–Wellington coach route.
